Sending a Newsletter
A sign-up block, and where the confirmed list actually lives
Turning on newsletter sign-up, adding the block to your site, and how double opt-in works.
Turning on sign-up
- Turn on Newsletter under Configuration -> Features.
- Add the sign-up form to your site either in Footer Builder (toggle Newsletter Sign-up on, and set a heading/blurb), or as its own Newsletter Sign-up section on any page.
Double opt-in
A visitor who signs up receives a confirmation email first and only becomes a real subscriber once they click the link in it -- this keeps your list genuinely opted-in and protects your sending reputation. A visitor never needs a password or account for this; signing up for the newsletter alone does not create a login.
Seeing who is subscribed
Go to Newsletter -> Subscribers for counts, search, the ability to resend a confirmation email, remove someone, and export a CSV of confirmed subscribers.
