Shipping, Pickup & Return Policies

Store Settings, per-item shipping, and what customers see before they pay

How shipping is calculated, and how Return Policies work with a site-wide default.

Local Pickup and Shipping

Go to Store -> Settings. Turn on Local Pickup, Shipping, or both -- a customer picks between whichever you have enabled at checkout. Pickup is always free. Shipping charges a flat rate per item (three items is three times the rate, not one flat number for the whole order), with an optional Maximum so a large order is never overcharged, and an optional Free Shipping Over threshold.

Your Shop Space does not look up live carrier rates -- this is a simple, predictable calculation you set yourself, not a UPS/USPS/FedEx integration.

Return Policies

Go to Store -> Return Policies to write one or more policies -- "30-Day Returns," "Final Sale -- No Returns," whatever your shop needs. Each policy has its own Active/Inactive toggle (retire one without deleting it or losing which products it was attached to) and a Show in footer checkbox, which is deliberately per-policy -- a policy you would rather keep to just the one product it is attached to can stay out of the footer entirely.

The site-wide default

Set a Default Return Policy on Store Settings, and it applies automatically to any product that does not have its own policy chosen. A product's own choice, set on its own form, always overrides the default. Customers see whichever policy applies as a small "Return Policy" link on the product page that opens the full text in a popup.

Promo codes

Turn on Allow promo codes at checkout on Store Settings to let customers enter a code on the Stripe payment page. Codes themselves are created and managed in your own Stripe Dashboard (Product Catalog -> Coupons), not in Your Shop Space -- this setting just turns on the box that lets someone enter one.
