Staff Photos and the Initials Placeholder
Upload, pick from library, or let a placeholder cover for now
The two ways to set a staff photo, and what shows when there is not one yet.
Setting a photo
- On a staff member is edit page, find the Photo field.
- Either Choose from Media Library (reuse a photo already uploaded elsewhere on your site) or upload a brand new file directly -- JPG, PNG, or WEBP, up to 25MB.
- If you do both in the same save, the direct upload wins.
No photo yet
Leave the field blank and Your Shop Space shows a neat placeholder with that person is initials instead of a broken image -- a real fallback, not an error state, so a staff page never looks unfinished while you are still collecting photos.
Removing a photo
Click Remove Photo to clear it. If the photo came from your Media Library, this only unlinks it from this staff member -- the file itself stays in your library for reuse elsewhere.
